Repair the container—or replace the system?

A replacement lid is not automatically the cheapest choice. Compare the current part price, shipping, availability, and the cost of a complete container or set before you buy.

A simple decision rule

Repair when the exact manufacturer-confirmed part is available at a reasonable total cost and the container itself is still in good condition. Replace when the exact part is unavailable, shipping overwhelms the part price, or you would rather move to a system with easier-to-buy replacement parts.

We do not recommend replacing a usable container merely to generate a sale. Sometimes the right answer is to keep looking for the part. Check the replacement finder before giving up on the container.
