How to identify your food-storage container

Start with the markings on the container—not the color of the old lid.

Pyrex

Pyrex says to look on the bottom of the bowl, dish, or container for the capacity and a model number that generally starts with 2, 3, 7, or 8. For storage containers, match the model and cup capacity to the replacement-cover listing. See Pyrex’s model-number guidance, then search our Pyrex records.

Snapware Total Solution

Use the shape, size, and model listed on the product or replacement-lid page. Snapware notes that many Total Solution lids fit glass and plastic containers of the same shape and size, but do not assume interchangeability outside the manufacturer’s stated matches. Search our Snapware records.

IKEA 365+

IKEA identifies products with article numbers. Its current 365+ system includes separately sold shape-specific lids. Match the shape, physical dimensions, and article information on the official product page before ordering. Search our IKEA 365+ records.

Do not match by capacity alone. Two containers can hold the same amount and still use different lids.
